「OPENING RECEPTION」 Yosemite Experience Story

This Friday, September 7th, we will be hosting the opening reception for our new art show Y.E.S. (Yosemite Experience Story) featuring works by Monrõ, Kazama Naomi, and Mike Ming. This multi-platform exhibit focuses on the free spirit nature that is the basis of Monrõ, a brand dedicated to the "Urban Bohemian" lifestyle incorporating nature into the hustle and bustle of life in the city. From 7PM to 9PM, we will be hosting music, drinks, and familiar faces to present the newest addition to our gallery walls.

「GALLERY AND POP-UP SHOP」 Palm Graphics by Koji Toyoda and ts(s)

Next Tuesday the 24th of July, we will be hosting the opening reception for our new gallery show and pop-up shop.

The walls of our gallery space will be occupied by Japanese surf-inspired label, Palm Graphics and will feature the artwork of founder and designer Koji Toyoda.

Our pop-up shop will be the FW12 collection from Japanese label ts(s), designed by Takuji Suzuki.

From 7 to 9PM we will be having music, drinks, and familiar faces at our shop so come by, say hello, and check out the new exhibit and goods!

This Thursday the 22nd of March, we will be hosting the opening reception for our new art exhibit. Photographer Eric Kvatek will be showcasing his works from a trip to central Mexico where he spent time with the locals and took part in their festivities. Our store walls will be featuring his photographs from his new show, Carrera de los Charros.

From 7PM to 9PM, we will have music, drinks and familiar faces to accompany our new exhibit.

「NEPENTHES NEW YORK PRESENTS」

Dear friends and family,

Next Tuesday the 17 th of January, we will be hosting an opening reception for our new art exhibit and pop-up shop.

The gallery space will be occupied by Thomas Hooper; painter, illustrator, artist and tattooer from Essex, UK. Now plying his trade in Brooklyn, his show Origins of Solitude will showcase his unique style of orthodox and unorthodox painting techniques, organic textures with computer-enhanced patterns, and geometrical entities.

Our new pop-up shop will be Takahiro Miyashita's The Soloist. The Soloist brand has their own store in Tokyo titled the grocerystore. and for the next few months we will have the grocerystore. in New York.

From 7PM to 9PM, we will have music, drinks and familiar faces to accompany our new exhibit and shop.

「NNY PRESENTS」'inimicus' by Emilio Cuilan and Mini Max Pop-up Shop

This Thursday we will be holding the opening reception for our new gallery exhibit, inimicus by Emilio Cuilan. From 7 to 9 PM we will be showcasing the new works on our gallery space walls accompanied by music and drinks.

We will also be opening the new pop-up shop for the Brooklyn based toy store Mini Max. The pop-up shop will feature educational, eco-friendly toys and games so you can pick your little ones something on your next visit to Nepenthes.

This Thursday October 20th, we will have an opening reception for our new exhibition My V.S.O.P. by Takeshi Ohfuchi of Post O'alls. Post O'alls will also be featured at our new pop-up shop on the mezzanine.

Nepenthes is also be proud to unveil the next segment of the Hell's Kitchen Music Society - the NYC-based dance music record label, Throne of Blood.

From 7PM to 9PM, we will have refreshments and music (live DJ set by Throne of Blood artist POPULETTE) at our NNY store so please come by, say hello, and enjoy a night with your Nepenthes friends.
