「IN STOCK & IN PICTURES」Beach Items with Batten Sportswear and Engineered Garments

The next few days and the upcoming weekend in New York are going to be scorching hot with temperatures in the upper 90's... a perfect time to escape to the beach (or anywhere else where you're not completely surrounded by concrete). With that in mind, we picked a few sand and sun appropriate pieces.

The first is the Beach Bucket by Batten Sportswear. As the current installment of our rotating pop-up shop, Batten Sportswear produces clothing and accessories inspired by surf and the outdoors. Made in New York, Batten's inaugural collection has a strong focus on lightweight and durable goods including this Beach Bucket. This bag can be used in three different ways: as a tote bag, duffle bag, and backpack. The bag is constructed from nylon and is a perfect way to keep your things free from the sand and waves. Available in Red with Navy straps or Blue with Navy straps.

Our other selection to bring with you is the Engineered Garments Bucket Hat. The EG version has a shorter brim and fits a bit shallower than normal to keep your head cool and the sun out of your eyes. It is simple as it is functional and the lightweight cotton allows you to let it get beat up, wrinkled and covered in sand. Available in Olive Coated Cotton, Blue Chambray, Light Grey Glen Plaid, and Dk Grey Glen Plaid.

「IN STOCK & IN PICTURES」Engineered Garments SS12 T-Shirts

We just received the latest delivery of the spring summer collection from Engineered Garments. Along with some other pieces we'll feature later on we now have available the t-shirts for this season. The designs are taken from Field & Stream magazines from the 1930's and printed on our Workaday crossneck pocket tee's. Digging through the wrinkled, torn, and worn out pages of these magazines from over 70 years ago, we selected a few destinations with some cool typography that caught our eye. These shirts are available in Grey or White with Navy print.

The last shirt design comes from our music shop-in-shop at our New York store. Our Hell's Kitchen Music Society is a showcase for various artists and labels hand picked by our staff. The shop contains everything from music (vinyls and CDs), limited edition merchandise, our HKMS Playbuttons, and a iPad listening station. The current installment features Brooklyn based dance label Throne of Blood records. These shirts are available in Grey with Navy print and Navy with Black print.
