This piece is reversible and provides you with two options for wearing; in this case one side Navy, one side Camouflage. The navy side is a polyester/cotton blend with 3 pocket detail while the camouflage side is 100% Nylon with a 2 pocket detail.

Next Tuesday the 17 th of January, we will be hosting an opening reception for our new art exhibit and pop-up shop.

The gallery space will be occupied by Thomas Hooper; painter, illustrator, artist and tattooer from Essex, UK. Now plying his trade in Brooklyn, his show Origins of Solitude will showcase his unique style of orthodox and unorthodox painting techniques, organic textures with computer-enhanced patterns, and geometrical entities.

Our new pop-up shop will be Takahiro Miyashita's The Soloist. The Soloist brand has their own store in Tokyo titled the grocerystore. and for the next few months we will have the grocerystore. in New York.

From 7PM to 9PM, we will have music, drinks and familiar faces to accompany our new exhibit and shop.

For those unfamiliar with the Playbutton concept, it is a 4 cm diameter button containing a digital music player. Our good friend and past-exhibitor Katsu Naito will be releasing his West Side Rendezvous book at Printed Matter (195 Tenth Ave.) this Friday. Katsu presented his bold and striking photographs on our gallery walls in October of 2010 and has since put together the rest of his works in the newly published book. From 6 to 8PM, Katsu will be at Printed Matter to greet and sign copies of WSR. Congratulations to Katsu and we hope to see some of you there.

THRONE OF BLOOD RECORDS

A curated selection of off-kilter dance music from the Brooklyn underground. Helmed by The Rapture, ToB releases music from an international team of DJs and producers.

AKA JK

Originally from Washington DC, Jonathan Kreinik has been making electronic music since the 80's and extensively working as a live sound engineer/producer for the likes of The Rapture, Trans Am, !!!, LCD Soundsystem, and others.

FORD INC

Mat Playford and Paul Woolford met after a very late night spent at Devil Ray Cove during which the two bonded over a love of strange noises and polymono plexus gel. The two decided to combine forces and launch joint exploration missions into quantum hydrodynamics. These missions were made under the name Ford Inc.

ULYSSES

Although a long time advocate of obscure disco and classic techno, Ulysses is currently best known for the piano house anthem "robotic hypnotic adventure" from his Neurotic Drum Band collaboration with John Selway. His music suggests the nostalgic fun of yesterday's classics without overlooking the new sounds of today.

SAARID

"Saarid wishes to promote peace through human understanding, not politics." These words are literally etched into the vinyl of Saarid's debut single. Fusing 80's drum machines with 90's atmospherics, Saarid has crafted a sund that nonetheless feels "now."

POPULETTE

Between frequent DJ gigs, marathon sessions in their studio, and remixes for numerous artists, Populette have staked out a slice of dance music terrain as their own. Populette is all about dance floor energy and analog synths, deep, druggy, and not for the faint hearted.

Nepenthes is also be proud to unveil the next segment of the Hell's Kitchen Music Society - the NYC-based dance music record label, Throne of Blood.
