"Shinjuku" is Daido Moriyama's homage to a district in Tokyo that houses the busiest train station in the world. This particular stretch of Tokyo bursts with frenetic energy and nefarious activity. Moriyama uses his modest point and shoot camera to peer in and out of the shadows to expose the joy, pain, and above all ; the reality of living in such a hauntingly beautiful place.
